Helen Sherman-Wade, MA, CCC-SLP – has over 25 years of experience working with children and adults exhibiting speech, language, stuttering and learning problems, as well as with early infant and family intervention.
Before establishing her private practice in 1983, Ms. Wade served as:
Instructor in the Department of Communicative Disorders, California State University, Northridge
Lecturer, Department of Special Education, California State University, Dominguez Hills
Consultant in Special Education to the California Department of Education
Consultant on Bilingual Issues to the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and to the California Speech and Hearing Association.
Educator with LAUSD: Aphasia classroom teacher, itinerant speech and language specialist, bilingual diagnostic examiner, coordinator of Aphasia Program Testing.
Her Master of Arts Degree, Credential in Speech Pathology and Teaching Credential in Special Education are augmented by multilingual skills in Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, German, Yiddish, as well as English.
We provide assessment and intervention to the pediatric population as well as to adults. Our staff includes speakers of English, Spanish, Hebrew, Armenian, Farsi, Arabic, Yiddish, and Greek.
